Ceramics at Loudwater

Whether you’ve always wanted to have a go at getting your hands dirty with clay, or have experience but want to keep working, we can help.  We hold regular pottery sessions where everyone, no matter age or experience is welcome. These sessions are very much free flow, where a Technician is on hand to give you some advice and support. We also offer regular sculpture sessions run by a local artist, here you will have the opportunity to try your hand at sculpture under full guidance.

If you are a ceramic artist, simply looking for a space to work, we can help too.  You could join us on a Friday morning for a couple of hours emerging yourself in your love of clay.  Bring your own materials and glazes and we can help with any moulds or tools you may need to use, we charge a minimal fee which covers use of the studio and firing in our kiln. Or if you’re happy creating your masterpieces at home but lack the use of the kiln why not give us a call and we’ll advise if our kiln is big enough to accommodate your work and agree a price.
