New Portal Project Begins

Loudwater are excited to announce that thanks to funding from the Arts Council they will be working with renowned ceramic artist Emma Summers on a new community art project entitled ‘Portal’.

The project will see the casting of multiple individual porcelain ceramic door handles and doorknobs, to explore what Ludlow means to individuals and how it shapes our sense of belonging, identity and relationships to this rural town and landscape. The project will invite the local community of Ludlow to come and cast their own porcelain ceramic handles for a ceramic light installation to be temporarily sited in Mortimer Forest in 2019.
