Welcome to Loudwater Community Arts an amazing Not for Profit open-access community arts and crafts studio for the whole community. Situated on the Burway Trading Estate in Ludlow. Loudwater is bright and packed full of artistic materials with an amazing atmosphere allowing all our visitors to fully immerse themselves in creativity in a fun way. We pride ourselves on a relaxed, informal approach to creativity that everyone can enjoy at affordable prices. A place where skills can be shared, and friendships developed, in an inclusive environment you’ll never want to leave.

With dedicated creative zones and a small craft shop, there’s something for everyone at Loudwater. From ceramics memberships, group and individual sessions for disabled adults, workshop days run by professionals in their field and more, there’s lots to enjoy.

Part of the Charity Vision Homes Association all monies received are ploughed back into supporting the Studio, enabling us to provide access to creativity at realistic prices for all.

Loudwater staff believe everyone can be creative. Set up with dedicated creative zones, including ceramics, and a small craft shop, we offer a full range of creative opportunities including workshops to indulge your creative passion;  time for families to get together away from the pressures of everyday life and more. We are always happy to see new faces and are always open to new ideas and activities. If you’re creative and need a space to work look no further, our space is bright and airy with lots of space for everyone.

Loudwater  is fully equipped for disabled access, with dedicated disabled parking bays directly outside  our entrance door. We offer many different activities for disabled adults inlcuding opportunities to develop life skills in a fun and inclusive way.

Part of the Charity Vision Homes Association, Loudwater was set up over 20 years ago with Lottery funding and is run for the whole community.  There are many ways you can get involved with the Studio, whether you’re looking for a place to volunteer; have a craft draw full of materials you’d like to donate; or are interested in becoming a friend of the studio; your support is always welcome.

If you’re a artist; crafter; or teacher, interested in running workshops, we’d like to talk to you about how we could work together. Looking for a meeting space or team building opportunity? Loudwater is the perfect place for you and your group to enjoy in all sorts of ways. Like to volunteer? We have lots of ways you can get involved including crafting from home and all your volunteer hours count towards time in the Studio. Getting here:


By Car: Loudwater is located on the Burway Trading Estate, just off Bromfield Road, behind Ludlow Motors. Look for our sign, turn in by the red barriers and follow the road, you will see our distinctive 16A in front of you. Parking can be limited but we are able to help with this.

By Foot: The Studio can be reached on foot, and is situated an approximate 15 minute walk from Ludlow Town Centre.

By Train:  The Studio is an approximate 10 minute walk from Ludlow train station.

By Bus: The 435 Ludlow to Shrewsbury bus service runs approximately every 30 mins and will drop passengers at the bus stop by the Leisure Centre along Bromfield Road, which is approximately a 5 minute walk from the Studio. Both the Ludlow Town and Park and Ride services drop and collect from the train station, which is an approximate 10 minute walk from the Studio.
