We use materials of all sorts at Loudwater to support a whole range of different projects with our service users, activity days and through sales of craft packs and items made in the Studio.
Loudwater is part of the charity Vision Homes Association and if you’re a creative we know you’ll be like us and have cupboards and drawers full of creative materials that were just to irresistible to leave behind. If you’re looking to downsize, or simply having one of your regular clear outs we’d love it if you would consider donating your materials to us, rather than sending them to landfill. All donations are sorted through by staff and volunteers and any excess materials are put in our shop for sale to other creatives at realistic prices. Contact us to find out more, or give us a call when you’re ready to donate and we’ll arrange a time with you.
Just some of the things we regularly use are:
- Thread / Cottons
- Ceramic Equipment
- Coloured Paper
- Foam / Padding
But the scope for what we could upcycle is endless.
Are you a manufacturer or retailer that has roll ends or redundant stock that you’d be happy to donate? We’re happy to collect, particularly if there’s a large amount to fill one of our vehicles. We’re also keen to set up community donation points across Shropshire, do you have a small space within your facility that could be put aside for donations? If you can help in any way please get in touch, we’d love to talk to you.
